Alexa Andrews

Program Coordinator

Alexa Andrews, MPH, is the program coordinator at the Institute for Public Health Practice, Research and Policy at the University of Iowa College of Public Health. She graduated in 2019 with her MPH with a concentration in Occupational and Environmental Health from the UI College of Public Health.

Mrs. Andrews has worked with the IPHPRP on many initiatives including INVEST Health, the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program, and the Iowa Public Health Tracking Portal Program. Her work has focused on partnership building and collaboration following a collective impact model, as well as training the Iowa Workforce on data communication. Through this work she has spearheaded the Childhood Lead Advisory Workgroup (CLAW) to advance the work of the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program.
