Faculty and Staff Opportunities

College of Public Health faculty and staff have several ways to advance their teaching, research, and service initiatives through the IPHPRP.

Collaboratories

A collaboratory is a creative group process designed to solve complex problems that brings the opportunity for new organizational networks to form. A collaboratory methodology expands the scope, scale, and impact of public health research.

Policy Fellows

Our Policy Fellow program creates opportunities for CPH primary faculty and staff to enhance skills for translating public health research into practice and policy. Faculty and staff who desire additional opportunities to inform practice/policy change and who want to enhance their research portfolio through policy should apply for this year-long program. Individuals or teams of two members are encouraged to apply.

Visiting Scholars

The Visiting Scholar program provides an opportunity to enrich the CPH education, research and collaboration initiatives by focusing on specific scholarly work and/or research of critical public health issues. The program integrates exceptional senior scholars into the life of the college and provides unique, time-limited opportunities for the students and faculty to interact closely with the scholars through a variety of functions.

Executive in Residence

The Executive in Residence program integrates senior business leaders into the life of the college and provides unique opportunities for experts to interact closely with students and faculty. While the college hosts many external practitioners as visiting lecturers and conference participants, executives-in-residence foster long-term relationships with the college and help to shape and execute new strategic initiatives.
