The Communicating Data training series is designed to help public health professionals build their skills, knowledge, and confidence when it comes to interpreting and communicating data.  

The format of these trainings will be a combination of presentation, large group discussion, and one small group activity.

Visualize This – Online Training

September 25th from 1:00-3:00 pm

Learn how to identify and communicate the main message from your data and develop the best visualizations to create an impactful public health story.

Disaggregate It! – Online Training

October 23rd from 1:00-3:00 pm

Learn the importance of disaggregating data, how to identify disparities within disaggregated data, and how these concepts apply to public health practice.  

Data Basics: An Introduction to Epidemiological Concepts
