View the eighth installment of the Building Health Equity webinar series: Reproductive Health Equity in Iowa. We featured Destinee Woodris, Director of Community Engagement at Planned Parenthood North Central States, and Melissa Lehan Mackin, Associate Professor at the University of Iowa College of Nursing. This was a live session on December 14, 2022.

We discussed current reproductive health equity issues happening in Iowa, explored strategies that have already been shown to be successful in promoting equity and justice in reproductive care, and highlighted ways that individuals and organizations can start advocating for reproductive health equity. The session included open conversation with attendees.

Objectives:

1. Learn about reproductive health equity issues currently occurring in Iowa

2. Explore successful strategies to promote equity and justice related to reproductive care  

3. Highlight how individuals and organizations can get started advocating for reproductive health equity
