The American Public Health Association (APHA) hosted the second webinar in their Advancing Racial Equity series called “Path to Reproductive Justice: Research, Practice, and Policies” on July 14, 2020. The session aimed to:
- Provide context of racism in reproductive care across multiple impacted groups
- Share current advocacy approaches to advancing reproductive health equity
- Highlight current federal legislation that addresses the barriers to achieving reproductive justice.
Speakers include Ndidiamaka Amutah-Onukagha, PhD, MPH, CHES; Elizabeth Howell, MD, MPP; Joia Adele Crear-Perry, MD, FACOG; and U.S. Rep. Lauren Underwood.
