The American Hospital Association‘s Institute for Diversity and Health Equity has released The Health Equity Roadmap. The roadmap is a framework to help hospitals and health care systems chart their own paths toward transformation — thus becoming more equitable and inclusive organizations. It starts with a Health Equity Transformation Assessment to help hospitals and health systems understand their current position on their health equity journey. The results from the tool will include recommendations for structure for continuous improvement toward an equitable health system.
