Jacob Clark
Biostatistician
Jacob has been working as a data analyst in the CPHS for over eight years; first as a student and later as staff. He graduated from The University of Iowa with an MPH in Biostatistics and was immediately hired by the CPHS to take over analytic and programmatic duties on a variety of projects. Notable among these include Working at Iowa Survey, Iowa Health Fact Book, and Care For Yourself cancer surveillance program in conjunction with the IDHHS and the CDC. He is often brought into other projects to consult on or provide a full suite of data duties, including collection, formatting and wrangling, inference and analysis, reporting, and visualizing. Jacob also helps oversee graduate students working with the Center and enjoys mentoring students working thru the MPH Biostat program at Iowa.
