The Building Health Equity (BHE) Learning Collaborative is working to address health inequities in Iowa.
The BHE Learning Collaborative is a group of local health departments from Iowa. It includes health department leadership and health equity advocates. The group works together to address different health disparities in the state of Iowa. Currently, the group is developing a health equity framework tailored specifically to Iowa, drawing from a model adapted from Human Impact Partners. Each tile below represents a Strategic Practice from the Human Impact Partners framework. The group has prioritized “Mobilize Data, Research & Evaluation” and “Confront the Root Causes.” Additional information on the other tiles will be available soon.
